What Can a Facelift Fix?

What Won’t a Facelift Fix?

However, a brow lift procedure may be combined with a facelift for an overall improvement in the appearance of wrinkles, or some clients may choose to have an injectable regimen to address fine wrinkles around the forehead and eyes.
How Does a Facelift Work?
The procedure begins with an incision around the hairline, along with the temples, and then moves down the front of the ear, ending at the lower part of the scalp. Then, the skin is lifted, and the underlying muscle tissue and fat are repositioned, with some fat deposits removed. Lastly, the excess skin is trimmed away and the incisions are sewn up.
Recovery time for a facelift is about four to six weeks, although there may be some swelling and bruising around the incisions. You’ll have to carefully follow your surgeon’s instructions for care, including carefully washing your face and wearing sunscreen daily.
